Attorney James Rafoth, CPA started with BPS in 1991. Jim combines his background as an attorney with over thirty-three years of investment advisory experience to counsel business owners and high-net worth families, providing customized consultation in areas of retirement plan design and implementation, investing, tax compliance, risk management and legacy planning.
Prior to joining Beard Pension Services, Inc., Jim worked with a large tax consulting firm in Cleveland, Ohio. Jim earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Case Western Reserve University and his Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio and is a Certified Public Accountant (Ohio). Besides being a FINRA registered representative, he holds a Life and Health insurance license.
